According to the Manchester Evening News, United have a chance of signing the Leverkusen forward as he is interested in a move to premier league.
Given the growing interest in Havertz, however, and the fact that he has another two years to run on his contract, Bayer could demand in the region of £80m for their prized asset.
Chelsea and Liverpool are also believed to be on the verge of signing Havertz, while Bayern Munich recently confirmed their interest.
