Edo Assembly relocates to gov’t house.

Edo State House of Assembly has moved its sitting to the old legislative chambers located in the government house in Benin, the state capital.

Clerk of the house, Yahaya Omogbai, said the relocation was as a result of the ongoing fumigation of the complex.

“Following the ongoing fumigation exercise, repairs/renovation including the lighting system as well as the computerisation project of the hallowed chambers and adjoining offices of the Edo State House of Assembly, the leadership of the house has decided that its plenary session be moved to the government house,” he said.
